RMA Procedures

Reliant Technology RMA Policy

Reliant Technology has established the following guidelines to provide our customers with the best support and shortest turn-around time possible.

RMA Process

When returning item(s) to Reliant Technology, you must first contact your sales rep to obtain an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number. This can be initiated by email or telephone.

The following information is required in order to complete the RMA request:

  • Contact name
  • Company name
  • Address
  • Phone number
  • PO Number
  • Item Description
  • Serial Number
  • A brief description of the problem

Returning the Product

After you receive your new item, the original defective item must be shipped back to Reliant Technology within 30 days. This item must be properly packaged to prevent loss or damage in transit. Please use the packaging material provided in your new RMA order to ensure its safe arrival. Your RMA Number must be clearly written and visible on the outside of the box provided for easy identification.

  • Products with missing or defaced serial numbers
  • Products damaged by environmental factors, which include oxidation and/or damages caused by natural disasters
  • Physical Damages to include, but not limited to, misuse, neglect or improper, unauthorized modifications, burns resulting from faulty or failed electric power, etc.
  • If the product is not defective upon inspection, the product will be returned at the customer's expense and the customer will be responsible for the current market value of the item. Additionally a testing fee may apply if product is not defective as user claims.
