The IBM DS5020 Express offers high data availability and high performance perfect for bandwidth heavy applications. The IBM DS5020 Express allows for 8Gb/sec Fibre Channel connections, optional 1Gb/sec iSCSI interface and can scale up to 224TB of physical storage.
The IBM DS5020 Express also supports intermixing of low power, high performance Solid State Dirves (SSD) with Fibre Channel, FDE, and SATA disk drives. The IBM DS5020 Express Model 20A (1814-20A) has up to eight independent 8Gb/sec Fibre Channel host ports for direct attachment servers or fabric attached SANs.
