The IBM DS4800 is a 4U rack-mountable midrange 4 Gbps network storage array that contains dual controllers and up to 16GB of cache memory. The IBM DS4800 can attach up to 14 EXP810 (16 slots) storage expansion units or 16 EXP710 (14 slots) storage expansion units for a total of up to 224 disk drives or 167TB of physical SAN storage capacity.
